Education
LitENV aims to supplement modules offered by the University Scholars Programme (NUS College), Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) and College of Humanities and Sciences (CHS) on (English) literature and the environment. Currently, the following four modules on ecocriticism are taught in NUS: USE2324 – Gender and Ecology in Asia, EN4267 – Literature and Ecology, EN5880A/ENC5880 – Literature and the Environment, and GE Module: Nature-Stories: Narrating Climate, Species, and Crisis. Students, researchers and faculty members working on ecocriticism, environmental humanities and world literature with a specific focus on Southeast Asia will have access to reading lists, resource materials, discussion forums, calls for papers and conference proposals on topics related to their research interests.
